Peer Review Process

Upon receiving a manuscript, our editorial team conducts a preliminary review to:

• Confirm alignment with the scope and objectives of MKK Publication.
• Ensure adherence to submission guidelines, including formatting and ethical considerations.

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors with detailed feedback.

1. Selection of Reviewers

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts. Reviewers are chosen based on:

• Expertise in the relevant academic field.
• Absence of conflicts of interest with the authors.

The peer review process is conducted under a double-blind review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.

1. Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess submissions based on:

• Clarity of presentation and adherence to ethical standards.
• Relevance to the intended audience.

Reviewers provide constructive feedback and make recommendations for acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

We strive to ensure a swift review process. The review process usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks from initial submission.

The final decision on the manuscript's acceptance lies with the editorial board, which considers:

• Reviewer recommendations.
• The quality of revisions made by the author(s).

1. Post-Acceptance and Transparency

• Accepted manuscripts are subject to a final round of proofreading and formatting before publication.
• All published works are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and made freely accessible under a Creative Commons License, ensuring compliance with open access standards.

Allegations of Misconduct

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. While our current policies emphasize author responsibilities, including adherence to ethical research practices and proper attribution of sources, we recognize the importance of having clear procedures to address allegations of misconduct. 

In the event of such allegations, we would undertake a thorough and impartial investigation, consulting relevant experts as necessary, and take appropriate actions based on the findings. This may include issuing corrections, retractions, or notifying relevant institutions.
